Getting Dimension in a drawing

Dimension= Dim

linear Dim
Linear Dimension for an object

Command line: Type dimlinear or dli and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > Linear (Option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Linear dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input LINEAR DIM command.
Step 2: Pick the two points of the objects.
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim

ALIGNED DIMENSION OF OBJECT

Command line: Type dimaligned or dal and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > Aligned (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Aligned dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input ALIGNED DIM command.
Step 2: Pick the two points of the object.
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

Arc Length dimension

Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > Arc lenght (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Arc length dim tool

Step 1: Input Arc length DIM command.
Step 2: Pick Into  the object.
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

ORDINATE DIMENSION OF POINT

Command line: Type dimordinate or dor and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim(menu) > Ordinate(option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Ordinate dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input Ordinate DIM command.
Step 2: Pick the point to get dim.
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

RADIUS DIMENSION OF OBJECT

Command line: Type dimradius or dra and press Enter Key
Manubar: Choose Dim(menu) > Radius (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Radius dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input RADIUS DIM command.
Step 2: Pick the object.(Arc or Circle).
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

DIAMETER Dimension OF OBJECT

Command line: Type dimdiameter or ddi and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > Diameter (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Diameter dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input DIAMETER DIM command.
Step 2: Pick the object. (Arc or circle)
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

ANGULAR DIMENSION OF OBJECT

Command line: Type dimangular or dan and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > Angular (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Angular dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input ANGULAR DIM command.
Step 2: Select two objects that makes angle.
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

Quick Dimension

Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Quick dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input Quick DIM command.
Step 2: Select total objects that makes dim.
Step 3: Pick the point where you want to place the dim.

BASELINE DIMENSION OF OBJECT

Command line: Type dimbase or dba and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > baseline (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick baseline dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input BASELINE DIM command.
Step 2: Input S for select. (If you need)
Step 3: Pick the dim line for baseline.
Step 4: Pick other points where you want to place the dim.

CONTINUE DIMENSION

Command line: Type dimcontinue or dco and press Enter Key
Menubar: Choose Dim (menu) > Continue (option)
Toolbar: From Dim toolbar pick Continue dim tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input CONTINUE DIMENSION command.
Step 2: Input S for select. (If you need to start from other dim)
Step 3: Pick the require extension line to continue dim.
Step 4: Pick other points where you want to place the dim.

Dimension Edit

Command : ED

Step 1: Select Dimension which is you need to edit

Step 2: Delete Dimension

Step 3: Write new Value

Step 4: Ok click
