Using Inquiry Command

Inquiry command:

Inquiry command use to how to know about some important tools option there are given below:

1.FINDING DISTANCE

2.FINDING AREA

3.FINDING COORDINATE OF A POINT

4. LIST OF OBJECT PROPERTIES

Inquiry

FINDING DISTANCE

Command line: Type list or li press Enter Key

Menubar: Choose Tools(menu) Inquiry(option) List(option)

Toolbar: From inquiry Toolbar choose List tool

Procedure:

Step 1 : Input LIST command (any one of the above ways)

Step 2: Select necessary object to find it’s listing

Note: You will get the listing of picked object in the text window. (Press F2 button to close it)

FINDING AREA

Command line: Type area and press Enter Key

Menubar: Choose Tools(menu) Inquiry (option) Area (option)

Toolbar: From Inquiry Toolbar choose Area tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input AREA command (any one of the above ways)

Step 2: Pick necessary points to find out area then press enter

Note: You will get the area with perimeter in the command line text window.

Command line: Type id and press Enter Key

Menubar: Choose Tools (menu) Inquiry(option) Id point(option)

Toolbar: From Inquiry Toolbar choose Locate point tool

Procedure:

Step 1: Input ID command (any one of the above ways)

Step 2: Pick necessary point to find out it’s coordinate

Note: You will get the co-ordinate of picked point in the command line text window.
